Andrew is a leading corporate lawyer with a particular focus on transactional work. He heads up the firm's PLC team in Scotland.
Andrew has spent the last 12 years specialising in corporate transactional work and has extensive experience of public and private company M&A, MBO's, business angel and private equity investments, institutional and public fundraisings and flotations.
He has a particular interest in the energy, technology and leisure sectors.
Led the team which helped to create The Capital Pub Company plc in 2000 and which, having floated it on AIM in 2007, sold it to Greene King plc in September 2011 for an enterprise value of £93 million.
Helped to establish Par Equity in 2008. Par Equity has now created and manages a range of innovative investment products and funds, financed by a strong investor syndicate. In 2011 Andrew’s team helped Par Equity to complete 17 investments.
Having completed the reverse takeover of Frontier IP Limited by ARH Leisure Investments plc to create Frontier IP Group plc in 2009, Andrew’s team has now supported Frontier in relation to its admission to trading on AIM and associated share placing.
Andrew enjoys watching and playing golf, rugby, football, skiing, mountain biking, motor sports and water sports. He is also known to enjoy decent food and wine.
