David specialises in corporate and finance work and acts for many of the major banks in the UK on transactional and advisory work. He has worked on a large number of corporate and banking projects with a range of capital values up to £500 million.

David has worked on a secondment at Royal Bank of Scotland and also has significant oil and gas project experience from an in-house position with BP prior to joining the firm. Acted for Clydesdale Bank in connection with acquisition finance provided by it to Portman Travel for the Acquisition of Fleet Travel.

Acted for Bank of Ireland in connection with senior debt provided by it to the WG Mitchell companies.

Acted for Sigma Capital and other investors in their investment into Aquamarine Power Limited.

Acted for Senergy Limited on arrangements with Dolphin Drilling Limited and others in relation to the Byford Dolphin drilling rig.
