Expertise

Nick is head of the firm's corporate team in London. He has significant experience in national and international corporate finance, capital markets, private equity and M&A, with particular specialisms including real estate investment & finance, and telecoms and technology M&A.

Experience

Prior to joining the firm, Nick was co-head of global investment bank Nomura's London based real estate investment group, a £2 billion balance sheet multi-faceted real estate business (debt, mezzanine and equity) focusing on Europe, CEE, CIS and Russia.

Successes

Advising on a series of transactions effecting the acquisition, refinancing and exit of Nomura's debt and equity investment in the Earls Court & Olympia Group.

Advising on the acquisition and refinancing of a high-acuity, special education homes and schools business for children and adults.

Advising AT&T on a series of M&A deals over a number of years, including advising on the English aspects of its $10 billion "Concert" global telecommunications joint venture with BT Plc.

Advising on a series of transactions effecting the formation, financing and dissolution of the "Global Switch" telehousing joint venture between Global Switch, Chelsfield Plc and TrizecHahn Corporation.

Advising Modec Limited, a world leading manufacturer of clean technology electric vehicles, on its Americas joint venture with Navistar Inc, one of America's leading truck manufacturers and distributors.

Acting for Lloyds Banking Group, pre-appointment and the administrators post-appointment, in the pre-pack sale of the business and assets of Approved Solutions Limited, Britannia Business Communications Limited and Your Network Services Limited (all part of the AT Communications Group Plc) to the Daisy Group Plc.
