Philip has extensive experience across a broad spectrum of banking and finance matters. In addition to handling a wide range of corporate banking and acquisition finance work, he has particular expertise in leasing and asset finance together with consumer credit work. He spent a number of years in-house at HSBC Asset Finance where he was involved in numerous specialist areas, particularly in relation to motor finance at manufacturer, dealer and retail levels.
Philip's background in asset finance work has led him to handle ship finance and Islamic finance transactions as well. In addition, he has experience of documenting novel financial arrangements in connection with tax planning schemes.

Acting for a bank in connection with the restructuring of development facilities of £18 million.
Acting for a lessor in connection with a £30 million lease of studio equipment.

Philip enjoys music playing both the violin and viola. He also enjoys photography and motor racing but only as a spectator!
