Expertise
Sara is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in both family law and child law. She deals with a large amount of divorce work for private individuals. In addition, she deals with issues involving children, including contact actions, adoptions and children's referral work.
Experience
Sara also undertakes collaborative practice for separating couples and deals with separation issues for unmarried couples. She is a past President of the Glasgow Bar Association.
Successes
A high volume of court litigation. Sara appears regularly in court and has huge experience of court advocacy.
Instructed by Scottish Children's Reported Administration in several high profile, lengthy and complicated cases involving the alleged abuse of children.
Many defended and undefended divorces ranging from low value to £million settlements.
Sara completed one of the first surrogacy agreements in Scotland.
