Sarah worked in our Birmingham office for seven years prior to moving to the London office in 2010.

She has acted for PLCs, privately owned companies and individuals in a variety of matters including advising in respect of commercial contract disputes, injunctions and search orders, partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, warranties in sale and purchase agreements, professional negligence claims and Missing Trader Intra Community Fraud.

Successes

Obtaining an injunction against an exiting sales director acting in competition with the client's business in breach of restrictive covenants and stopping that individual causing significant financial damage to the client's business.

Obtaining a successful settlement for a minority shareholder in a claim for the purchase of shares worth around £10 million and a related unfair dismissal claim for further significant damages.

Obtaining a settlement of over £1 million from the vendors of a company in relation to a claim for fraudulent misrepresentation.

Obtaining successful settlements against various professionals in a variety of professional negligence claim.
