Expertise

Shona has been working exclusively in the field of family law for the last 15 years and is an accredited specialist in family law. She is a member of the Scottish Family Law Association.

Experience

Shona has been a longstanding member of the Family Law Association, which subscribes to a code of conduct for the conduct of family cases. For many years, Shona was an active committee member for the organisation.

She collaboratively trained, including interdisciplinary practice and is the Secretary of the Scottish Collaborative Group.

Shona appears regularly in court, acting in high net worth divorces, but also matters concerning the welfare of children in divorce proceedings. Shona is often appointed by the court to represent the children's interests in the court process. She also has experience in cases involving cohabitant's claims, adoption and pre-nuptial agreements.
