Simon specialises in corporate acquisitions and disposals, re-organisations and corporate finance transactions. He is a member of the private equity team and regularly acts for institutions and management teams on leveraged transactions requiring an equity investment.

As a senior lawyer with many years corporate experience, Simon is ideally placed to advise on the full range of issues arising from corporate acquisitions, disposals and mergers. He has a detailed understanding of business realities that comes from working with large retail and trading brands.
Successes
Led the team advising Lawrence Recycling & Waste Management Limited on raising development capital from Maven Capital Partners UK LLP.
Having advised on the management buyout of the PGL group of companies, led the team advising the shareholders on the subsequent £100 million sale of PGL Group Limited to Holidaybreak plc .
Advised the founders of Datingdirect.com throughout their period of ownership and its subsequent sale for £27 million to a French listed company.
Recently led the team advising founder Will Chase on the sale of Tyrrells Crisps to a private equity purchaser.
Interests
Simon's interests include watching rugby, football and cricket. He also plays golf and is a member of Worcester GCC.
Simon also enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters.
