Stuart's focus is the resolution of commercial and contractual disputes, regularly acting on behalf of clients in Scotland in both the Court of Session and the Sheriff Court.

Stuart also advises insolvency practioners, companies and directors on all aspects of insolvency law, with particular emphasis on insolvency related disputes.

Experience

Stuart is a Solicitor Advocate with rights of audience in the Court of Session, the Supreme Court and the Privy Council.

Stuart is also a Notary Public, is WS Society Signet Accredited (Commercial Litigation) and was voted Rising Star of the Year in the 2009 Scottish Legal Awards.

Successes

Acting on behalf of the leading supplier of diving and sub sea equipment in the successful defence of a half million pound claim in the Court of Session.

Obtaining interdict and damages against a company passing their business off as that of our clients.
