Leading national law firm HBJ Gateley Wareing is selling a property famed in Ian Rankin's final Rebus adventure, Exit Music.

A property famed in Rebus’ final adventure, Exit Music, has gone on the market in Edinburgh. 16 Great Stuart Street was home to the character Gill Morgan and was visited and admired by Inspector Rebus.

Leading national law firm HBJ Gateley Wareing is selling a flat in the building for offers over £360,000.

Louise Williams, Partner at HBJ Gateley Wareing, said: “This is a rare opportunity to live in a building with a great deal of mystery and intrigue famed in one of Rebus’s most exciting adventures.

“The flat is a stunning drawing room conversion and has maintained the original character described in the book.

“It is in a great location, in the heart of New Town, and we are sure it will appeal to more than just Rebus fans.”

The two-bedroom period conversion retains traditional features such as a carved mahogany mantelpiece and ornate cornicing work.
