telecoms provider advised in Manchester

The Manchester office of national law firm HBJ Gateley Wareing LLP has advised a leading telecoms company on a reverse takeover deal worth £10 million.

Corporate partners Mark Halliwell and Khurshid Valli have advised Vipera plc (formerly Ricmore Capital plc) on the acquisition of Vipera GmbH via an admission to AIM in a reverse takeover deal worth £10m.

Vipera is an Italian-based provider of mobile access software to financial services companies. The company is currently concentrating its efforts in the Middle East and Italy, although due to a number of key relationships Vipera will look at other territories in conjunction with its partners.

Current users of its software and products include Mashreq Bank, (the largest private bank in the UAE), Maybank Group (the largest financial services group in Malaysia), and Qatar’s Interior Ministry.
