The results of DEFRAs recent consultation on town and village greens is eagerly awaited by all in the development industry. Any resulting legislation has the potential to resolve the longstanding tensions surrounding this controversial area. Gerry Sheedy revisits the problems which town and village green applications can cause for developers and looks at how the proposals might help to solve them.
