Andrew is very experienced in corporate insolvency, corporate reconstruction, transactional insolvency, restructuring, asset based lending, administrations, schemes of arrangement, voluntary arrangements, advice to distressed companies and insolvency acquisitions.
Andrew has, over the years, advised extensively upon directors' duties and trading issues at a range of household names in the automotive, retail, manufacturing, technology and professional services sectors.
He regularly advises banks, invoice discounters, asset based lenders, private equity houses, companies, professional practices (including law firms), landlords and others on solutions and options in circumstances of financial distress.
He has acted in relation to numerous high profile insolvencies and transactions such as Allsports, MG Rover, TVR, Moben, Dolphin, Sharp, Amtek, Plaxton Coaches, Ilford, Oceans Furniture, Sofas (UK) and Silent Night.
He is a Board Member at the Manchester office of Gateley.
He recently chaired a successful restructuring conference in September 2011 at which speakers included Jon Moulton (Chairman of Better Capital), Brian Davidson (CEO of Crown Paints) and Neil Mackay (Regional Director, Midlands, North and Scotland, Lloyds Banking Group).
