Anne specialises in all types of construction and engineering disputes and has extensive experience of pursuing and defending claims in the Court of Session and sheriff courts, by way of arbitration, adjudication and mediation. Anne is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Construction Law.
She is a solicitor advocate (civil) and is qualified in England and Wales.
Anne has acted for and against all disciplines within the construction industry, including employers, members of the professional team, their insurers, contractors and sub-contractors in areas such as office developments, shops and retail parks, universities, schools, roads and leisure facilities.
She has increasingly been involved in the resolution of PFI/PPP disputes and disputes arising from waste management.
Acted in adjudication for employer, defending significant fee claim by consultant.
Acted for JV company in court action, involving EoT and monetary claims of over £1 million in respect of PPP project.
Acted for main contractor in multi-million pound final account and alleged design failure disputes in respect of a retail development.
Anne enjoys most equestrian sports. She is a fledgling golfer.
