Charles is the national head of Gateley's Corporate group. He specialises in mergers & acquisitions in both the private and public company arenas.

Experience

Charles has over 15 years' experience in a full range of corporate finance work. He has a master’s degree in law (from the College of William & Mary, Virginia, USA) and has been awarded the Corporate Finance Qualification by the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is rated as one of the leading corporate finance lawyers within the North West, winning plaudits for being both “knowledgeable and commercial”.

Acted on the £150 million disposal of Eveden Group to Wacoal Holdings.

Acted for ITIS Holdings Plc on its £37 million takeover by Inrix Inc.

Acted for Gazprom on its acquisitions of TruRead and Cyclo Systems and its disposal of Gazprom Global Energy Solutions.

Acted on various transactions for Betfred, Peninsula Business Services and Cordant Group Plc.
