He has a wide range of experience in all aspects of commercial real estate work, and in particular development work, acting for landowners, developers and local authorities in relation to large scale development and regeneration schemes.

Successes

Acting for the developer in relation to a Framework Agreement with Salford City Council providing for regeneration of the Ordsall Estate. This regeneration scheme has taken in a number of housing sites, and a significant mixed use development including supermarket, hotel, retail, residential and car park accomodation.

Acting for the developer on the mixed use town centre development at Urmston, Greater Manchester.

Acting for the local authority in relation to town centre developments at Middleton, Greater Manchester and Penrith, Cumbria.

Acting for the developer on the development of a site in St Helens as a foodstore and rugby league stadium.

Acting for the developer on the restoration and development of the former Festival Garden site in Liverpool.

Interests

Gareth enjoys running and cycling. He supports Liverpool FC. He also struggles to maintain and cultivate an allotment, with some help from his kids.
