Expertise

Janine advises businesses of varying sizes upon litigation and dispute resolution across a varied range of industry sectors and works with individuals, SME's and listed companies but the emphasis is on owner managed businesses across the North West.

She has significant experience of litigation in the healthcare sector, including acting for GP practices, individual doctors and other organisations in applications for injunctive relief in proceedings, litigation generally and specifically in judicial review work, both in respect of decisions affecting individuals and groups.

Janine has been an accredited mediator for the last 13 years.

Experience

Janine's main areas of experience are commercial contracts including;

- Corporate litigation especially shareholder disputes necessarily minority protection claims and court ordered share valuations/buyouts.

- Breaches of trust/fiduciary duty, including breaches of restrictive covenants by directors/employees.

- Professional negligence across professional work but primarily solicitors' practice litigation advice/property matters.

- Insolvency litigation including officeholder claims against directors/various recovery actions.
