Paul is the unit head of the national Corporate team and specialises in mergers & acquisitions in the private and public company arena, capital markets work and public company advisory work. He heads the firm's public company and large corporate group.
Paul has many years' experience of working at the very highest levels of industry and commerce. He heads the firms public company team and always offers down-to-earth, pragmatic advice no matter how complex the transaction.
Acted for Birmingham City Football Club plc on its £81.5 million takeover by Grandtop Holdings plc.
Acted for Network Group Holdings plc on its merger with Pertemps Limited to form Pertemps Network Group Limited and the £28 million investment from LDC.
Acted for Dunelm Group plc on its £65 million return of capital by way of a B/C Share Scheme.
Acted for GIL Investments Limited on a number of acquisitions and investments including the recent acquisitions of Trueform Engineering Limited.
Acted for Education Development International plc on its £112 million takeover by Pearson plc.
Paul enjoys running and regularly takes part in half marathons and other long distance runs. He also enjoys golf, cricket and football, as well as the theatre.
