Paul leads the firm’s private equity team and regularly acts for institutions and management teams on leveraged transactions.

Paul has a national role so spends his time in Birmingham, London and Manchester helping to develop the firm's corporate offering.

Paul specialises in investment work and all forms of merger and acquisition, advising many private equity funds on a wide range of corporate matters. Paul is head of private equity and joint Managing Partner.

Paul has been nominated in each of the last nine years for Corporate Lawyer of the Year in the West Midlands, winning on three occasions.

Advised the sellers of Gardner Aerospace on the sale to a new company backed by Carlyle.

Led the IBO of Dimensions Corporatewear out of Johnson Service Group Plc, and its subsequent sale to The Mens Wearhouse.

Acted for Dunedin in the institutional buy out of Formaplex.

Acting for Inflexion Private Equity on the acquisition of Phlexglobal.
