Rizwana is a Senior Associate in the employment team and advises clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

She also has expertise in business immigration matters and advises clients on the use of the points-based system in relation to new hires, intra-company transfers and temporary staff.

Rizwana provides practical and commercial advice to clients on day-to-day employment matters and is a keen advocate in employment litigation. She also advises on executive terminations.

In relation to business immigration, Rizwana supports businesses wishing to hire staff from outside the UK and transfer staff to the UK from Europe and beyond (on a long term or short term basis).

Rizwana also advises clients on how to remain legally compliant within the immigration regime and provides clients with effective strategic solutions to ensure that businesses can recruit and/or retain the most suitable staff.

Rizwana is a member of the ELA and ILPA.

Interests

Rizwana enjoys music, theatre and travel. In addition, she helps in a soup kitchen in Manchester City Centre.
