Acted for a house builder when an employee who broke his ankle on a construction site subsequently died. Ruth acted for the business in the H&S investigation, advised the business in a cautioned interview with the HSE who were insistent on treating the case as a workplace fatality, and represented the business at an Inquest where a verdict of medical negligence and neglect was delivered as a result of our intervention.
