Susan is a Partner in the banking and corporate finance team. She specialises in acquisition finance, bilateral and syndicated corporate lending, structured finance development and investment property lending, leveraged and building society funding as well as PPP and PFI funding.
Susan has in excess of 20 years experience advising on banking and finance transactions. These include funding public to private transactions, building society finance and not for profit organisations as well as the purchase and sale of loan books, leveraged finance investment and development property lending alongside project finance, general commercial and the funding of PFI particularly in the healthcare sector.
Susan has for a number of years acted for both lenders and borrows with a split practice and has acted on such things as sale of loan books in excess of £200 million and the debt for equity swaps. She acts for many banks and financial institutions as well as corporate borrowers, property borrowers and building societies.
Susan is a Non Executive Director of The Manchester Building Society.
Acting for The Royal Bank of Scotland Plc in the provision of extra finance to fund a development and refurbishment programme for Blackpool Leisure Beach.
Advising a group of off shore companies in the refinancing of an investment portfolio of properties with Anglo Irish Bank Corporation circa £50 million.
Advising on the £40 million refinancing of Styles and Wood Group.
Acting for the Bank of Scotland in the renewal of facilities for the Universal Consolidated Group of Companies.
Susan enjoys going to the theatre, cinema and the ballet. She also enjoys walking, travelling to cities around the world and having agood night out. Susan also likes watching rugby and cricket.
