Tax

Our Tax team is integral to the way the firm serves its clients and has particularly close working relationships with all the firm's departments involved in a transaction. Our tax clients include entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, families and individuals, partnerships, private companies, listed plcs, banks, charities, property investors, developers and local authorities. The tax aspects of every transaction that our clients enter into must be analysed and an appropriate solution found.

Typically, we advise on all tax aspects of corporate disposals and acquisitions, corporate group reorganisations and restructuring, real estate investment, property development, urban regeneration, EIS and VCT investments, VAT, and share incentivisation structures for employees and executives. The breadth of the Tax team's experience is considerable and each Tax lawyer is expected to be able to advise you on all aspects of your transaction while at the same time being able to draw on other team member's acknowledged expertise and experience.

Our objective is to provide the highest quality tax advice which is relevant to the key commercial concerns that you face - and to do so in an understandable and approachable manner.

Our Private Client offering also provides advice in respect of Personal Tax, Trusts & Succession Planning, covering all elements of inheritance tax, capital gains tax, income tax and returns, trust and succession planning.
